The first Precision Surface Grinder, OMA-350, which was cooperating with OKAMOTO CO. Japan.

Machine Tool Department cooperated with OKUMA (Japan) to manufacture High-Speed Precision Lathes.

Machine Tool Department increased the production of Large Surface Grinders and Precision Lathes.

Machine Tool Department developed NC Lathes.

Machine Tool Department developed CNC Lathes, LS-N.

Machine Tool Department and OKUMA Corporation established TATUNG-OKUMA CO., LTD.

SOARER L270 / L270E CNC lathes were launched.

TOC sold SOARER L270 / L270E CNC lathes series to whole world.

TOC passed ISO-14000 audited by SGS.

TOC developed SOARER L270-II / L270E-II CNC Lathes which equip the NC Turret to hit the market and improve the competitive-edge.

All new SOARER L200-M-e / L200E-M-e / L-300-M-e CNC Multi-Lathes was launched.

All SOARER series adopts PC-Base control system and is launched in a new look.

Launched SOARER L390E 1100mm long CNC lathe for shaft processing, providing customers with more powerful shaft processing equipment.

Vertical Machining Centers GENOS-M series was launched. (Japan OEM model)/ new GENOS L was launched in mid-year , global sales.

L300-MW、L300/E-MY CNC lathe was launched. GENOS lathes use the new OSP-P200A controller in October to speed up processing and upgrade functions and meet CE requirements.

1. High-level new product L200E-MY CNC lathe was launched in February.
2. To undertake customized special function orders, such as「automatic loading and unloading system」「automatic detection」etc., used in the labor-saving and automated production line.
3. OEM production of the 10,000th CNC lathe in August shipment commemoration.
4. L300E-MY CNC lathe was launched.

Launched L300-MYW new CNC Multi-Lathes, L300-MYW is the function of integrated L300-MW and L300MY, this machine joins to improve the completeness of the CNC Lathe.

HJ250/E、HJ400 FANUC controller CNC lathe was launched.

The OSP P300 suite function is introduced at the end of the year, providing a complete set of machining services, including mechanical status display, maintenance, program editing, production management, installation and setup information, and more.

L400-AW wheel processing machine was launched in January.

1. OSP-P300LA-e is adopted from January, and the controller processing speed is increased, the operation performance is upward, and the battery life is lengthened.
2. GENOS LII series and L1000 series models were introduced into production in the second half of the year and sold in 2018.

In July, the Yingge factory license was obtained and successfully transferred from the San-Hsia Plant to the new factory.
August 03rd the new factory was opened.
